No plan for fresh UTME, says JAMB. JAMB warns candidates, other stakeholders to beware of activities of fraudsters
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board on Tuesday warned candidates in the just concluded 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and other stakeholders to be wary of activities of fraudsters who are making false claims of errors in the scoring of candidates in the 2022 UTME.
The board said it had received several complaints from candidates who claimed that they were not receiving their result, even though they had paid for them. It said some persons were also contacting candidates to collect their results, saying they were JAMB officials.
According to JAMB, it had completed all processes related to the conduct of the examination and no error or mistake has been detected by it and no plan for fresh UTME
JAMB said it was aware of such activities, adding that it had already cautioned candidates to be wary of fraudsters who claim to have access to the results and are asking for money from them.
The board explained that all credentials issued by JAMB were authentic and genuine, adding that any document purporting to be from JAMB must contain the official logo with valid serial number.
